Have you worked tirelessly on scientific research and are eager to share your results? Or maybe you did not find what you set out to prove in your research, but along the way, something more interesting happened?
This is your chance! Show us your science at OSU's annual Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium , an annual showcase of science student achievement hosted by the Division of Undergraduate Studies, on September 14, 2017. All undergraduate students, including first-years, who are conducting research this summer or any time prior, are encouraged to apply to present their research. The deadline is August 21.
Presenting your research is a fantastic opportunity to build your resume, hone your public speaking and science communication skills as well as network with other scientists and your peers.
You can choose from two presentation options—3-minute lightning talks or a poster session. Apply today!
The symposium is being organized by Sophie Pierszalowski, OSU's Undergraduate Research Coordinator.
If you need help completing your application or have questions, take advantage of drop-in advising on August 10 from 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. in Agricultural Life Science Bldg (ALS) room 2037.
Everyone is welcome to attend this event to support science students. You can learn about the fascinating work that tomorrow's leaders of science are working on!
