Results from the following manuscripts will be discussed *Modeling the electrostatic signature of single enzyme activity (published in J. Phys. Chem. B) *Scanning probe techniques to engineer nanoelectronic devices (submitted to Microscopy Today) *Device characteristics of carbon nanotubes with engineered point defects (submitted to J. Phys. Chem. C) *Controlling the function of carbon nanotube devices with re-writable charge patterns (published in Appl. Phys. Lett.) Our latest single-molecule-resolution measurements of chemical reactions on the side wall of a carbon nanotube will also be discussed.
