Advising for current students
Students are strongly encouraged to maintain contact with their academic advisors. The incoming graduate students are mentored by the Core Advising Committee (CAC) comprised of five graduate faculty members until they find their research home and major advisor. The committee meets the students every term discussing their academic progress and helping them to select courses that are supportive of their academic goals.
