At the end of summer, Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Summer Bridge students spend a day visiting the science departments on campus. Groups of about 20 students visit our department to find out what university physics is like. This year Ethan Minot is leading a 50-minute program comprised of mini lectures, computer visualizations and small group activities that deal with electromagnetism.
