GSC will be hosting an Oral Preliminary Exam Workshop. The Oral Preliminary Exam is the process you must go through in order to become a PhD candidate. We will be talking about what the preliminary exam is, where to find information and required paperwork, and the timeline of events leading up to your exam. Everyone is welcome to attend, and we would love to have grads who have gone through this process in attendance in order to answer any questions that may arise since everyone’s experience is different.
