Dear Students,
In Spring 2011 I taught a Ph313 Course "Energy Alternatives". I prepared
a set of instruction how to write a term paper, and at the end, I gave
an example of how I would write a "term paper" about the 1985 Chernobyl
nuclear disaster.
I think I don't need to write new instructions for the present course
-- please read those instructions (just ignore the header)and follow the
same guideliness. As far as the length is concerned, five pages of
text will be OK. Graphic illustrations are very helpful in technical
reports, so please add two pieces of graphics (data figures, or
pictures, whatever may be appropriate, and may help to better
understand the material presented). The figures my be
embedded in
the text, but not neccesariy, you may put them on extra pages. Don't
forget to include figure captions, and a list of references. As
references, you may use journal articles, web sites -- anything that the
reader would be able to access (in principle).
Here is a link to the document I'm talking about: Please click!
Best regards,
Dr. Tom
