Abstract: 

Ernesta Meintjes received her Physics PhD about 12 years ago from our department, under the direction of Bill Warren. She then joined the faculty of the University of Cape Town, where she holds the South African Research Chair in Brain Imaging. She is currently on sabbatical at UCLA.
