Homework problems will be assigned periodically. Collaboration on homework exercises is encouraged provided proper attribution is given, but each student must write an independent presentation of the solution. To receive credit, work must be submitted before due date.

Course Evaluation

Homework: 50%
Midterm exam: 20% (Friday 11/2/07 9:00 am)
Final exam: 30% (Tuesday 12/4/07 6:00 pm)
