§ 13: Final Exam


Congratulations! If you gotten this far in the tutorial, you have already completed most of the final exam.

If you are an experienced unix user who has skipped the tutorial with the hope of just passing the final exam, you need to

  1. Read the information in "Courtesy, Ethics and Security" and "The Departmental Cluster"
  2. Copy the file sample-page.html to your homepage.
  3. Customize the sample to make it yours.
  4. Use Netscape to print a PostScript file version of your homepage.
  5. Use multips to create a file with both the postscript and the text versions of your home page.
  6. Print the multips file.
  7. Place your printout in the system administrator's mailbox.
  8. Send the email message described below, and you are done.

Send an email message to the system administrator which reads:

Of course, you have the option of not having your Web page linked to the Department's.

Take the PostScript printout of your homepage you made in the Print Section Review Quiz and place it in the system administrator's mailbox. If you no longer have your PostScript printout, you can make another copy.
