Temperature Panel

The temperature panel displays graphically the temperature of the simulation in real time as the simulation progresses. The x-axis is the timestep. Note that this is not measured from the beginning of the simulation, but from the point at which the graph started recording data. The timestep size is 0.01 ps, however the value particular value of the x-axis is not particularly important. When the graph becomes full, it clears itself and starts recording data again. The y-axis is the temperature. The y-axis scaling automatically adjusts itself to the data. Hence, if the scale is too large to see the detail that you want, simply wait until the graph is full, and it will clear itself and rescale.

Temperature units are in Kelvin.
