  * Familiarity with angular momentum at the introductory level
  * Familiarity with the Bohr model
  * An object with a definite circular orbit has angular momentum
  * a current loop (generated by single electron moving in a circle) will not experience force in a magnetic field appropriate for translation (only for rotation)
