A typical path for the courses that are required for a BS degree in Physics, without an option, is given below. In addition, the university requires students to complete the baccalaureate core. Students in the Physics program will automatically fulfill the mathematic skills category by taking MTH251 and the physical science category by taking the introductory physics and chemistry courses. The WIC requirement of the baccalaureate core is fulfilled by three terms of PH403 in the senior year. Students selecting an option will have the opportunity to replace some upper division courses by courses connected with the option selected.
